Your Activity Shows on Your Phone but Not in eFit

Use these steps when your steps or activity show on your phone but do not appear in eFit, even after you sync. The most common cause is that eFit is connected to a different Google account than the one holding your activity, or your data has not reached Google Health yet. Before you try anything else: pressing Start in the Google Health app does not fix this, and a workout you type in by hand earns no credit at all. See Do You Need to Press Start in the Google Health App?

1. Confirm which Google account has your data

Open the Google Health app and check that your recent steps and activity are there. Note the Google account you are signed in to.

2. Make sure your tracker is feeding Google Health

3. Reconnect eFit to the correct account

  1. Log in to eFit and open Fitness Tracker.
  2. Select Disconnect Google Health (/dashboard/sync.php).
  3. Open Fitness Tracker again and tap Connect with Google Health (/dashboard/sync.php).
  4. Sign in with the exact same Google account you saw in step 1.
  5. Approve every permission, then finish.

Important: eFit can only read activity from the Google account you select when you connect. If you choose a different account, your activity stays on your phone but does not appear in eFit.

Still stuck?

Force a fresh sync in your tracker app, wait a few minutes, then open eFit and refresh. If the activity still does not show, submit a support ticket and tell us which phone and tracker you use. Attach a screenshot from the Google Health app taken with Steps open and Week selected, so we can read each day's count. Compare Your Steps Day by Day shows the exact screen.

Before troubleshooting any further, check that your challenge has started counting: Your Activity Tracking Window explains why a connected tracker can correctly show zero.
