Google Fit is being retired. eFit no longer connects to the Google Fit app, and activity that lives only in Google Fit cannot reach your eFit dashboard. eFit reads your steps and active minutes from the Google Health app.
Move to Google Health
- Install the free Google Health app and sign in with the same Google account you used in Google Fit.
- Let your tracker deliver its activity into Google Health. On Android that runs through Health Connect, on iPhone through Apple Health, and a Fitbit or Pixel Watch pairs inside Google Health directly.
- In eFit, open Fitness Tracker (/dashboard/sync.php), select Disconnect Google Health if an old connection is still listed, then tap Connect Google Health and approve every permission.
The full move, including what happens to the days you already recorded: Moving From Google Fit or the Fitbit App to Google Health.
Your history is safe
Everything eFit already recorded stays in place. The move changes where new activity comes from.
After the move
Open Activity Data the next day and confirm new days are filling in. When you connect, eFit requests the history your Google account holds, up to six months, and then checks for new days every night. If steps show in Google Health and still do not reach eFit, submit a support ticket with the dates and the Week view screenshot described in Compare Your Steps Day by Day.
