Fitbit Activity Is Showing but Not Reaching eFit

Use these steps when your Fitbit is recording activity but it does not appear in eFit. The Fitbit app became the Google Health app in May 2026, so your Fitbit now pairs and syncs inside Google Health, and eFit reads its data from there.

1. Sync your Fitbit in Google Health

Open the Google Health app with your Fitbit nearby and give it a moment to finish syncing your device. Your watch or band uploads while the app is open and the phone is in range.

2. Confirm the steps arrived

In Google Health, tap Steps and check that today and yesterday show your counts. A day missing here is still on the watch, so keep the app open with the device nearby until the sync finishes.

3. Connect eFit to the same Google account

  1. Log in to eFit and open Fitness Tracker.
  2. If you had an older connection, select Disconnect Google Health (/dashboard/sync.php).
  3. Tap Connect Google Health and sign in with the Google account Google Health is signed in to.
  4. Approve every permission and finish.

Note: the separate Fitbit app has been retired. It became the Google Health app in May 2026, and standalone Fitbit accounts ended in July 2026. Your Fitbit device keeps working, and everything now happens inside Google Health.

Sent to a Fitbit sign-in page?

If signing in with Google hands you to a Fitbit page that wants a password, see Sign In With Google Sends You to a Fitbit Page.

4. Bring the recent days in

Select Sync Now on the Fitness Tracker page, then open Activity Data and look for the day that was missing. eFit also re-checks recent days every night, so give it until the next morning before deciding it did not work.

Still missing?

Compare the days in Google Health against eFit date by date and capture the Week view screenshot: Compare Your Steps Day by Day: The Week View Screenshot. If a day shows in Google Health and never reaches eFit, submit a support ticket with that screenshot and the dates. You can also walk the whole path from your phone to eFit with My steps don’t match in your dashboard.
