eFit no longer connects to a Fitbit account. The Fitbit app became the Google Health app in May 2026, and standalone Fitbit accounts ended in July 2026. eFit reads your steps, active minutes and workouts from Google Health.
Your Fitbit device still works. A Fitbit or Pixel watch pairs and syncs inside Google Health, and eFit picks the activity up from there.
Connect your Fitbit through Google Health
- Install the free Google Health app on the phone you carry and sign in with your Google account.
- Pair your Fitbit inside Google Health and let it finish syncing. On Android a Fitbit or Pixel watch needs no Health Connect setup of its own.
- Log in to eFit and open Fitness Tracker (/dashboard/sync.php).
- Select Connect Google Health and sign in with the same Google account the Google Health app uses.
- Approve every permission Google asks for, then finish.
If your account still lists Fitbit as its tracker, that page opens on Move your connection to Google Health and the same Connect Google Health button completes the change. Your recorded activity, Activity Score and badges are kept.
